The successful candidate will play an integral role in multijurisdictional real estate financings, including various types of loans and investments, while collaborating closely with partners and associates.

Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of transactional due diligence, with emphasis on title and survey review and analysis
Draft, review, and assist with a variety of real estate finance documents under attorney supervision
Coordinate and facilitate complex closings, including preparation of checklists and post-closing deliverables
Conduct legal and factual research on New York-specific real estate finance issues
Serve as a key point of contact for clients and third parties throughout the transaction lifecycle
Qualification
Required
Minimum of five years' real estate finance paralegal experience within a major law firm, financial institution, or in-house legal department
Advanced expertise in title and survey review and analysis
Comprehensive knowledge of New York real property statutes, recording practices, and UCC Article 9
Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree with a Paralegal certificate required
Proficiency with industry-standard tools, including iManage, iManage Closing Folders, Excel, SharePoint, ACRIS e-Recording, New York State e-File, and online due diligence portals
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication abilities
Solid understanding of real estate capital markets
Preferred
Experience handling large, sophisticated transactions strongly preferred
