The Operations Strategy Manager will lead the development of operational strategies to improve company performance and increase shipbuilding throughput while managing a team of Strategy Leads and Operations Analysts.

Responsibilities

Leading cross-functional teams to develop investment strategies across operations, supply chain, workforce, and infrastructure

Conducting diagnostic analyses to identify constraints and opportunities

Identifying and implementing new technologies and processes to streamline operations

Managing execution of initiatives by partnering with stakeholders across the company

Leading internal teams and coordinating closely with initiative owners to develop and execute value creation plans, roadmaps and business cases

Preparing strategy documents for senior internal and external stakeholders

Required

Newport News Shipbuilding requires a Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program
