They are seeking a Principal Embedded Firmware Software Engineer to lead product development, oversee software milestones, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in the design and testing of software for Networking PAM4 DSPs used in data center and AI connectivity.

Responsibilities
Owning product development
Technical lead on a project involving other SW developers, driving all aspects of SW development
SW milestone planning, scheduling, conducting sprints, closing issues, and squashing bugs
Architect and plan major SW features, work with SW block owners to fit each piece of the puzzle into the larger project
Work with a cross-functional design team from analog design, digital design, system architects, validation, DV, SW QA, etc
Design and test SW in a pre-silicon DV or emulation environment
Drive chip bring-up and work with the cross-functional team to bring up all the major HW blocks in the design
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on experience with memory-constrained embedded C development
Team and/or product lead with some project management or SDLC experience
Strong scripting skills (Python preferred)
Familiar with gcc/clang, GNU make, Jenkins, git
Fast learner and must be a self-starter
Excellent communication and written skills
Bachelor's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and related professional experience
Master's degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with related professional experience
