Technical Solutions Engineer (Integration)

They are seeking an experienced Technical Solutions Engineer specializing in SaaS integrations to design, develop, and maintain scalable integrations between TeamBuilder and customer EHR systems.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust integrations between TeamBuilder and customer EHR systems (such as EPIC, Cerner, etc.)
Troubleshoot integration issues and provide timely resolutions to ensure uninterrupted data flow and system interoperability
Design and develop sophisticated REST API platforms ensuring comprehensive system integration
Analyze service and application performance using various programming languages, tools, and techniques focused on integration
Conduct thorough testing and validation of EHR integrations
Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines tailored for integrated systems
Create documentation to support integration processes and workflows
Guide non-technical users in applying integrated software and hardware systems most effectively and efficiently
Support applications with an understanding of system integration, test planning, scripting, and troubleshooting
Communicate project status, issues, feedback, ideas, to various teams
Be proactive in communication with team members and clients

Required

10+ years of experience as an integration engineer, software engineer, or related discipline
5+ years of proven experience integrating third-party vendor projects with large EHR systems (including Epic)
Strong Python programming skills
Strong knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, including FHIR, HL7v2, and SMART on FHIR
Proficiency in solution design principles and practices, system development methodologies, and software life cycles
Familiarity with diverse technical integrations, technologies, and processing environments, including cloud and SaaS technologies
Skilled in solving complex production issues
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate challenges and issues directly with clients

Preferred

Epic Certification(s)
Prior experience with HL7, DICOM, and other interoperability standards
Cloud experience
