Responsibilities
Support a diverse portfolio of client engagements
Communicate complex messages in a simple and visually appealing way
Work closely with project managers, consultants, and other designers to ensure high quality output
Communicate effectively with all clients and internal employees
Perform hands-on production and execution of design solutions for, but not limited to, infographics, charts, project approaches, proposals, and presentations
Develop complex concepts into visual products
Work to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks without compromising quality
Actively participate in an iterative design process
Take initiative and be able to present concepts
Design a variety of collateral materials including but not limited to social media graphics, posters, print publications, etc
Review marketing products to ensure that images and messages appropriately contribute to brand identity
Qualification
Preferred
3+ years of experience with graphic design or visual communications
High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
High proficiency in Microsoft 365 including PowerPoint, Word Excel, Sharepoint
In-depth knowledge of graphic design fundamentals, lettering and typography
Possess exceptional collaborative and interpersonal skills; dynamic team player with well-developed written and verbal communication abilities
Experience dealing with clients when preparing infographics and data visualization products
Demonstrate a positive, professional image to work productively and effectively with all levels of management and a full range of personalities
Active listening skills
Comfortable working in fast-turn environments
Available to travel to client sites for meetings
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
Ability to successfully obtain a Top-Secret clearance; current Secret or higher DoD clearance preferred
Willingness to work at client sites in the Washington metropolitan area as needed; occasional travel outside of the Washington, D.C. area
