Responsibilities
Lead the discipline of health information analysis
Review, assess, validate, and develop data management processes to support Fairview's health initiatives
Work in a team environment to lead design, development, and execution of data transformation into actionable information and automated external data submission processes
Support system and network level clinical and financial performance
Create and maintain state-of-the-art information assets using requirements gathering, benchmarking, trending, opportunity analysis and predictive modeling
Work independently and provide oversight of team members to design, document, and develop solutions to deliver data and analytics to clinical and operational decision-makers
Follow and assure others follow best practices in development, testing, and deployment of data and analytics solutions
Assure that peer review and user acceptance testing of product is satisfactorily completed prior to deployment or delivery of work product
Provide coaching/mentoring and guidance to enhance skills and capabilities of junior team members
Step in as temporary support when deliverables are delayed, requirements are unclear, or when there is an impact to deliverables to executive leaders and/or strategic partners
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in related field, or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education
7+ years of demonstrated analytical skills with high attention to detail and quality
7+ years of demonstrated technical and interpersonal communication skills
7+ years of demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills
7+ years of demonstrated ability to effectively manage and organize multiple projects and responsibilities
7+ years of SQL(PL/SQL or T-SQL) and Crystal report or PowerBI reporting experience
7+ years of demonstrated strong quantitative and analytic skills
7+ years of demonstrated ability to think creatively and work collaboratively to address problems
7+ years of demonstrated ability to write and present data visualization and presentations
Preferred
Master's Degree in a Clinical field, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or other quantitative discipline
7+ years of experience in healthcare data analysis and/or report writing
Experience with reporting Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) within an enterprise Electronic Health Record (EHR)
