Roman and Williams Buildings and Interiors is seeking a Senior Interior Designer for their Residential team. The role involves overseeing the design process, managing client communications, and ensuring high-quality project delivery while balancing creative and logistical responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Expertise in antique and vintage furniture and object sourcing
Proficiency in material sourcing, including research and development for varied project requirements
Strong collaborative skills for coordinating decorative elements with architectural design
Comprehensive documentation of decorative and finish specifications/schedules, including material details, hardware, and fixtures
Skillful development of furniture plans
Experience in custom FF&E design and development
Budget management, including creation and execution of decorative project budgets
Proven ability to lead and manage decorative furnishing procurement
Effective liaison with workrooms to ensure high-quality craftsmanship and detail
Comprehensive management of installation scheduling and on-site coordination
Development of compelling client presentations, including visual research and design
Excellent presentation and communication skills for internal principal reviews and high-end commercial clients

Qualification

Interior design experienceAutoCADAdobe Creative Suite3D modelingMicrosoft OfficeVisual presentation skillsHand drawingCommunication skills

Required

Minimum of 7 – 10 years of professional interior design experience
Fluency in AutoCAD, the Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
Strong graphics and visual presentation skills
Strong communication skills, written and verbal

Preferred

Commercial & Residential experience a plus
3D modeling and rendering experience (Rhino, Revit) is a plus
Dexterity with hand drawing: rendering capabilities is a plus
