Information Technology Support Technician Level 3

LDD Consulting is a growing Managed Service Provider serving small-to-mid-sized businesses, primarily in schools and medical sectors in Albuquerque. They are seeking a Level 3 IT Support Technician who can handle escalated help desk tickets and provide onsite support to clients, ensuring effective communication and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Respond to and resolve Level 2 and higher help desk tickets (remote and onsite)
Travel to client sites for troubleshooting, installations, and project work
Diagnose and resolve complex issues involving Windows servers, Microsoft 365, networking, and business applications
Configure, install, and maintain hardware (Servers, PCs, laptops, network devices)
Deploy and manage Microsoft Entra (Azure AD), Intune, and security policies
Assist with network upgrades, firewall configurations, and backup/disaster recovery solutions
Maintain accurate documentation of tickets, work performed, and client configurations
Provide friendly, clear communication with clients, ensuring they feel supported and informed

Required

5+ years of IT support experience, preferably in an MSP or multi-client environment
Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft 365 administration, and Azure AD
Experience with networking (switches, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs)
Solid understanding of cybersecurity best practices
Ability to troubleshoot Desktop, Server, network, hardware and software issues quickly and efficiently
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred

Experience with VoIP administration (e.g., 3CX, Teams Voice)
Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or Azure Administrator
Experience with RMM and PSA tools (e.g., ConnectWise, N-able, auditing tools)
Solid understanding of compliance best practices
