The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for reviewing and approving application drawings, preparing engineering calculations, providing technical support, and ensuring project schedules are met.

Responsibilities

Review and approve detailed application drawings to ensure compliance with corporate standards as well as local regulatory and safety requirements

Under minimal supervision may be required to prepare drawings utilizing Aluma Products

Working independently, prepare complete and accurate engineering calculations for a variety of projects

Provide assistance and feed back to detailers on design issues and come up with solutions to complex problems

Monitor work schedule to ensure work is completed on time

Provide technical support to sales force and customers

May be required to carry out jobsite inspections for specific projects

Occasionally visits construction project sites

This position has limited supervisory responsibilities

Required

Must possess a professional engineering license

Bachelor's degree in engineering / Applied Science or equivalent

Registered as a Professional Engineer with a recognized Professional Engineering Association

Minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible working experience in relevant field

Commitment to professional career development

Demonstrated teamwork and interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and ability to work collegially with sales personnel and others to provide customer-focused engineered solutions in the rental and/or sale of forming, shoring and scaffolding products

Sound working knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit/Inventor software and MSOffice. Good working knowledge of structural analysis software
