Responsibilities

Manage and process escrow transactions in accordance with instructions from real estate agents, brokers, attorneys, lenders, and other parties involved in the transaction
Ensure full compliance with all terms outlined in the Purchase and Sale Agreement, lender instructions, title underwriting guidelines, and company procedures
Review and address all matters listed in the Preliminary Title Commitment, including lien payoffs, Deeds of Trust, and any title-related issues such as probates, divorces, or land use classifications
Prepare all necessary documentation required to close the transaction accurately and in a timely manner
Coordinate and conduct signing appointments with buyers and sellers, ensuring all parties understand and complete the required paperwork
Ensure timely and accurate disbursement of funds at closing in accordance with transaction requirements and company policies

Required

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial services, preferably within title and escrow operations
Solid understanding of industry-standard practices, concepts, and procedures in the title/escrow field
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable working with various computer applications and title production software

Preferred

Detail oriented and professional; able to handle confidential information
Ability to juggle many duties and meet multiple deadlines
High level of stress tolerance and emotional resilience; ability to maintain an even disposition in the face of conflict or in a crisis
Strong energy and drive; self-starting, strong work ethic and work habits, accountable for one's own actions
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to build collaborative relationships with co-workers and the parties to the transaction
Ability to produce a high volume of work accurately on a consistent basis
Good team player; willing to reach out to other staff to assist; willing to accept help from others when needed
