The role involves providing guidance on SAP purchasing policies, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring compliance with internal processes while delivering high-quality support.

Responsibilities
Process Purchasing Requests: Efficiently manage spend requests, including the creation of shopping carts, maintenance of tracking codes (e.g., WBS Elements), and handling similar purchasing tasks based on business requirements
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with key teams such as Marketing Execution, Procurement, Compliance, Data Protection, Vendor Management, Finance, and others to ensure alignment and smooth operations
Request Tracking & Communication: Proactively monitor and communicate the status of requests to stakeholders, ensuring timely and high-quality service delivery
Policy & Process Compliance: Adhere to established processes and internal policies, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and in compliance with company standards
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to ongoing optimization efforts by improving operational processes, tools, and data quality; support the development of new procedures that increase efficiency and effectiveness
MSRC Platform Support: Provide guidance on purchasing processes and handle Purchase Order requests for the Marketing team within the Strategy & Operations function via the MSRC platform
Dashboard Monitoring: Monitor the MSRC dashboard to ensure requests are processed in a timely manner; reassign or escalate Help Requests as appropriate
Ad-Hoc Support: Respond to urgent purchasing needs quickly and accurately, adapting to shifting priorities
Issue Resolution: Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., GPO, Controlling, OEC, Marketing) to resolve purchasing-related issues efficiently
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in purchasing or operations roles within the IT or tech industry
Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations, or a related field
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Strong communication skills with a high attention to detail
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, multicultural environments and collaborate effectively across teams
Proficiency in SAP tools and platforms, including Ariba, ISP, SAC Planning, CRM, and MSRC
Preferred
Additional languages are a plus
