Responsibilities

Test, repair, recondition and retrofit services on switchgear

Meet or exceed PEARL standards

Qualification

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent

Proper use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)

Ability to pass a respirator fit test and be trained on proper respirator protocol

General understanding and firsthand experience with safe work environments

Be able to read, interpret, and modify documents

Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an excellent driving record

Ability to possess the following certifications: PearlTM Level I and II, Forklift training, TSC Electrical Training Classes completed within one (1) year of hire date, Mine and Safety Administration (MSHA) Training, 10-30 Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Card, In-house Training on individual machines in the shop

Ability to lift, push, pull, carry items up to 50 lbs. in weight

Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, and bend for prolonged periods of time

Ability to perform manual labor for up to 12 or more hours per day

Acute hearing and strong field of vision

Ability to work in demanding physical and inclement weather conditions
