Myticas Consulting is partnering with a leading semiconductor company developing next-generation >100Gbaud communications products. As a Senior High-Speed Analog IC Design Engineer, you will drive the development of cutting-edge integrated circuits operating at speeds greater than 100Gbaud for next-generation optical and high-speed data applications.

Responsibilities

Design and develop high-speed analog integrated circuits (>100Gbaud) using SiGe BiCMOS or CMOS technologies
Collaborate with layout engineers to guide physical implementation and ensure performance, area, and reliability targets are met
Lead silicon bring-up, including RF wafer probing, lab measurements, debug, and optimization of high-speed analog ICs
Develop and execute detailed DVT plans and characterization methodologies for high-speed components
Work closely with verification, CAD, product engineering, and test engineering teams throughout the IC product lifecycle

Required

Must be based in California, United States, with the ability to work on-site as required
Minimum 5 years of experience in high-speed analog IC design using SiGe BiCMOS or CMOS technologies
Strong understanding of transmission lines and other high-frequency passive components in the context of high-speed IC design
Solid grasp of device physics and its impact on analog circuit performance, with demonstrated ability to optimize performance
Hands-on experience with RF wafer probing, lab instrumentation, and evaluation/characterization of high-speed analog ICs
BS or higher degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field (MS or PhD preferred)

Preferred

Experience developing or using Verilog-A models for analog/mixed-signal IC simulation
Experience with scripting languages such as SKILL, Python, or shell scripts for design automation or data analysis
Background in creating and executing design validation test (DVT) plans and characterization strategies for high-speed analog ICs
Proven experience working on cross-functional IC product development teams (verification, CAD, product engineering, test)
