Responsibilities
Actively engage in understanding and refining customer needs and architectural requirements
Develop comprehensive technical designs and approaches, along with precise effort estimates
Collaborate with the team on researching and delivering new features
Handle complex customer issues, often with minimal direct access to their environments
Partner closely with Development and QA teams within an agile sprint framework
Coordinate and communicate effectively with distributed teams across multiple locations
Take part in both formal and informal discussions, including code and design reviews, as well as technical knowledge-sharing sessions
Provide regular updates on project status to line management
Qualification
Required
University degree in Computer Science or a related field
5+ years of hands-on Java development experience
Experience working with SOAP and RESTful web services
Web programming skills are a plus (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Angular, TypeScript, etc.)
Solid understanding of databases
Familiarity with microservices, Spring Boot, and EclipseLink
Experience with code quality, refactoring, and applying design patterns and best practices
Knowledge of development environments, source control, and tracking tools
Basic experience with Bash
Advantageous experience with XML technologies such as DOM and SAX
JSF experience considered a plus
Very good command of English
