Responsibilities
Use physical design expertise for physical implementation of challenging designs in latest technology nodes
Perform RTL to GDS implementation of multi million gates including floorplanning, place and route, STA, and physical verification
Automate repetitive tasks and data processing for Cadence Innovus/Synopsys Fusion Compiler tools using Perl/TCL scripting
Handle blocks with a large number of macros, floorplanning, CTS, timing and congestion debugging
Ensure extensive experience in STA and timing closure, with a strong understanding of STA timing concepts and overall timing closure cycle
Qualification
Required
5+ years hands on experience on RTL to GDS physical design flow
Strong Perl/TCL scripting skills to automate repetitive tasks and data processing for Cadence Innovus/ Synopsys Fusion Compiler tools
Should have experience in handling blocks with a large number of macros, floorplanning, CTS, timing and congestion debugging
Extensive experience STA and timing closure. Strong understanding of STA timing concepts and overall timing closure cycle
Strong communication skills
Preferred
Hands-on experience on hierarchical top level floorplanning, IO ring design, place and route, clock tree building, STA is preferable
