Responsibilities
Network Design & Implementation: Lead the design and deployment of complex network solutions, including LAN, WAN, and cloud-based infrastructures, to support organizational needs and growth
Network Security: Implement and manage network security measures, such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems, to protect the organizations data and systems
Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime
Troubleshooting & Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting for network-related issues, ensuring quick resolution to maintain business continuity
Project Leadership: Manage and execute network-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
Documentation & Compliance: Maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices
Mentorship & Training: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment
Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams to integrate network solutions with other systems and applications
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in network engineering or a related role
Proficiency in network protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS
Experience with network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls
Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools
Knowledge of network security principles and best practices
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent certification is preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
Preferred
Experience with cloud networking solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure)
Knowledge of network automation and scripting languages
Familiarity with SD-WAN technologies
Financial industry experience a plus
