Responsibilities

Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with HR teams to prioritize business needs, understand current HR processes, identify pain points and determine how Workday can best address them
System Design and Configuration: Design and configure Workday modules (e.g., Core HCM, Talent Management, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits) to align with business needs, including creating custom workflows, fields, and reports
Implementation Support: Lead the implementation process, including data migration, testing, user training, and change management activities
System Maintenance: Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and address user queries related to Workday functionality
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize HR processes within Workday or with a Workday solution in mind, proposing and implementing system enhancements to improve efficiency and data accuracy
Reporting and Analytics: Develop and maintain customized reports and dashboards within Workday to provide actionable insights for HR leadership
Project Management: Lead small to medium-sized projects with a Workday solution in mind, managing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations. Projects should always have a Workday solution

Required

Workday Expertise: Knowledge of Workday HCM modules and functionalities, including configuration options and best practices
HR Domain Knowledge: Understanding of core HR concepts like recruitment, performance management, compensation, benefits, and employee lifecycle management
Business Analysis Skills: Strong ability to gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and document detailed process flows
Project Management Skills: Ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects with defined timelines and milestones from kickoff to implementation
Technical Skills: Familiarity with data manipulation, reporting tools, and basic understanding of system integrations
Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders, including HR leadership, technical teams, and end-users

Preferred

2+ years of experience in Workday, preferably in a project manager or BSA role
Strong knowledge of Workday modules, HR processes, and data workflows
Proven experience leading cross-functional projects with a focus on HRIS or enterprise systems
Ability to translate business requirements into technical specs and actionable plans
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
PMP, CBAP, or Workday certifications are a plus
