Responsibilities

Conduct outbound calls to prospective clients to determine if a) the prospect is still in a buying phase of Verizon Connect. B. Utilize current Refinery promotional offers to secure business after the initial demonstration has lapsed in time
Generate appointments by means of proactive outbound prospecting of assigned refinery accounts and lead activity management to qualify and market our solutions to potential customers
Gather business intelligence (e.g. fleet size, current products used, etc.) by conducting web-based research and other data sources
Generate and prospect assigned Refinery accounts which will be supported by previous inbound activity and Business Development activity
Documents all sales activity in Salesforce and keeps accurate records on leads and call activity
Exhibits confidence and professionalism in presenting products to clients and serves as a role model for the team for successful sales behaviors
Gather market specific data on why a potential prospect did not move forward with Verizon Connect due to our pricing, contract or sales behaviors
Present product capabilities through web-based demonstrations either set up by Business or own appointments
Ability to perform to a set of standard key performance and activity-based sales call metrics daily
Drives peer activity and communicates several times daily with the team on sales activity metrics and performance
Prioritize activity and sales pipeline to achieve goals with an emphasis on managing personal time, productivity and accurate forecasting. Follow-up on proposals and negotiate contracts with prospective customers in collaboration with Managing Partner
Maintain an accurate pipeline of viable opportunities that you are currently working to secure contract

Required

Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience
Three or more years of relevant work experience
