Responsibilities
8+ years of SQL Server database administration and design
Extensive T-SQL tuning experience
Solid knowledge of Windows scripting
Able to work under pressure and take responsibility during situation management
Agree to work independently to carry out on-call duties as scheduled
Experience working with multiple versions of SQL server: individually, in parallel, and using cross-server connectivity
Experience creating, configuring, monitoring, managing, and remediating SQL Server in on-prem VM and physical scenarios
Experience creating, configuring, monitoring, managing, and remediating SQL Server on Azure VMs
Experience setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting MSDTC
Experience with SQL encryption processes and procedures
Experience Installing, configuring, monitoring, and managing SQL Server AlwaysOn Availability Groups
Experience with migrating SQL server data from on-prem to an Azure environment
Experience performing data migrations from older SQL versions to newer versions on separate systems
Basic SQL server and connectivity troubleshooting skills
