Head of Paid Media
Amplify is seeking a remote Head of Paid Media to independently design, build, and scale their paid acquisition engine. This role is focused on driving revenue through effective paid media strategies and requires a strong background in SaaS growth operations.

Responsibilities
Fully own and scale Amplify’s paid acquisition engine
Independently design, build, launch, optimise, and scale the entire paid growth machine - from campaigns and creative, to landing pages, funnels, attribution, and revenue impact
Be the single owner of paid media and paid acquisition, expected to operate as a one-person growth engine, using modern AI tools to move fast, test aggressively, and scale what works
Accountable for the number of Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) from paid channels, cost per SQL, paid-sourced pipeline value, average deal size (paid-sourced), and paid-sourced revenue closed
Own the full path: Paid traffic → landing page → demo → sales → closed revenue
Accountable for the number of new customers acquired from paid channels, cost per customer, average revenue per customer (ARPC), payback period on paid-acquired customers, and paid-sourced recurring revenue
Own the full path: Paid traffic → signup / trial → activation → paid conversion
Establish clean baselines for SQL volume and cost per SQL, customer volume and cost per customer
Launch net-new or materially improved paid campaigns across core channels
Ship improved landing pages for both SLG and PLG paths
Identify and clearly articulate funnel bottlenecks, SQL quality issues, and conversion drop-offs
Present a clear scaling plan tied directly to SQLs, customers, and revenue
Achieve a predictable, repeatable flow of SQLs and/or customers from paid
Demonstrate improvement in at least one core efficiency metric: cost per SQL, cost per customer, average deal size, ARPC
Ensure clean attribution from paid spend to pipeline to revenue
Develop at least one paid growth motion that is proven, scalable, and ready for budget expansion
Full ownership of paid acquisition across Google Search, Display & Performance Max, Paid Social (Meta, LinkedIn, and relevant emerging channels), and retargeting and full-funnel paid strategies
Budget ownership, forecasting, and scaling decisions
Continuous experimentation across channels, audiences, messaging, and offers
Transition from agency-led execution to a high-velocity in-house system
Independently design, build, and optimise landing pages using tools such as Webflow, Framer, Unbounce, or similar
Write and iterate ad copy, landing page copy, headlines, CTAs, and value propositions
Optimise both SLG and PLG funnels end-to-end
Use AI to generate and iterate ad creative and copy, prototype and improve landing pages, analyse performance patterns, and increase testing velocity without increasing headcount
Own paid performance reporting and insights and partner with RevOps / CRM to ensure clean attribution
Qualification
Required
7–12+ years of hands-on paid media / performance marketing experience
Personally scaled paid acquisition for SaaS products
Strong SaaS experience is mandatory
Ability to show real numbers, not just tactics
Comfortable operating as a one-person growth machine
Independently launch and optimise campaigns
Build landing pages
Write copy
Analyse funnels and revenue impact
Execution-first, opinionated, and allergic to fluff
Preferred
Experience scaling B2B healthcare SaaS, especially in the US
Familiarity with compliance-driven messaging (e.g. HIPAA)
Experience replacing or outperforming agencies
Strong understanding of SaaS SLG and PLG funnels
