Responsibilities

Researches and consults on various tax projects/matters
Learns to apply Information Technology tools and tax software to be used for preparation
Receives exposure to the preparation and timeliness of business correspondence
Receives direct experience visiting with and/or working on client matters
Learns to apply exemplary work habits and maintain confidentiality at all times
Builds sense of teamwork by becoming part of client service team
Hones communication skills and keeps manager informed of work assignments’ status
Develops strong time and work management skills
Gains a deep understanding of the firm and its capabilities/services
Fosters environment of collaboration
Learns about and develops a growth mindset and approach to work
Understands and develops strengths utilizing the StrengthsFinder assessment
Cultivates a sense of importance around engaging in community service and leadership

Required

Must be enrolled in an accounting program (or related major)
Preference is for students to be a rising senior by the time the internship commences
Must have a GPA of 3.25 or greater
Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
