Comcast FGA Legislative Intern

The intern will gain hands-on experience in government affairs, working with the Federal Government Affairs team, while contributing to meaningful projects and building professional connections.

Responsibilities

Watch Congressional hearings and take notes for circulation to Comcast Legislative Affairs team
Work with members of the Legislative Affairs team on various projects
Conduct guided legislative and Congressional research on topics of interest to Comcast NBCUniversal
Attend internal Comcast meetings and take notes for staff
Support the Legislative Affairs team in planning and execution of Comcast corporate events
Attend meetings with Congressional staff
Process consultant invoices and other administrative assignments as needed
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Required

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from a United States-based college or university
Rising Junior or Rising Senior only (must have a graduation date between Winter 2026- Spring 2028)
Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2026 semester before graduating)
Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program starting June 1, 2026, through August 14, 2026
Strong interest in working on the Hill after graduation or has previously worked on the Hill
Strong interest in government affairs/regulatory affairs
Strong research skills
Experience with Microsoft Excel, required
Must have excellent time management and verbal/written communication skills
Must have great attention to detail and organizational skills
Must have ability to interface with all levels of management
Must be able to work evenings (when necessary)
Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
Strong interest in the telecommunications, cable and media industries
Ability to work on a team

Preferred

Proficiency in Adobe InDesign is a plus, but not required
Preferred Majors: Political Science, but open to any major with previous Hill experience
