Responsibilities
Guide customers in selecting and deploying the right EDA tools, methodologies, and physical implementation flows
Lead and execute physical design processes from RTL to GDSII, ensuring best-in-class silicon results
Perform physical verification reviews (DRC, LVS) and support signoff across all stages
Optimize chip floorplanning, placement, routing, timing closure, and IR/EM analysis
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal design, implementation, and infrastructure teams, as well as with external tool vendors
Drive improvements in physical design automation, including building and maintaining internal methodologies and scripts
Contribute to design for testability, low-power design strategies, and tape-out success
Qualification
Required
MANDARIN language proficiency
10+ years in physical design and flow development, with direct RTL-to-GDSII experience
Proficient in advanced technology nodes (e.g. 4nm, 3nm, 2nm) and related implementation challenges
Deep understanding of EDA tools and physical verification (e.g., floorplanning, place & route, timing analysis, DRC/LVS, IR drop, EM)
Demonstrated experience in low-power design techniques and power optimization
Familiar with design for testability (DFT) and formal verification processes
Strong collaboration and communication skills, especially when working across global teams and vendors
Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
