Seasonal Administrative Support Assistant - Office Automation (OA)

Responsibilities
Performs various administrative tasks
Composes correspondence, letters, memorandum and other documents
Uses automated systems to process routine and/or complex transactions
Provides support to various programs such as payroll, budget, procurement, acquisition, property management, human resources, fleet management, and general office duties
Qualification
Required
You must provide official transcripts before you begin work
You must submit a legible copy of transcripts from an accredited institution with your name
U.S. Citizenship required
Appointment subject to background investigation and favorable adjudication
Meet Selective Service Registration Act requirement for males
Direct Deposit: Selectee will be required to participate in the Direct Deposit Electronics Funds Transfer Program
You may be required to operate a government (or private) motor vehicle as part of your official duties
You will be required to wear a uniform and comply with the National Park Service uniform standards
For some parks, you may be required to travel overnight away from home up to 5 nights per month
Applicants must be at least (1) 18 years old or (2) at least 16 years old and have graduated from high school or been awarded a certificate equivalent to graduating from high school
All qualifications must be met by the closing date of this announcement-01/16/2026-unless otherwise stated in this vacancy announcement
Must type at least 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute typing sample with three or fewer errors is required
To qualify for this position at the GS-05 grade level, you must possess at least one of the following minimum qualifications: EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, or COMBINATION
To qualify for this position at the GS-06 grade level, you must possess the following minimum qualifications: EXPERIENCE
To qualify for this position at the GS-07 grade level, you must possess the following minimum qualifications: EXPERIENCE
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs and other organizations
To qualify based on education, you must submit a legible copy of transcripts from an accredited institution with your name, school name, credit hours, course level, major(s), and grade-point average or class ranking
Education must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in order for it to be credited towards qualifications
