Senior Advisor - Reemployed Annuitant & CTAP/ICTAP/RPL

Responsibilities
Execute mastery knowledge of, and skill in applying, laws and regulations through extensive years of experience in law enforcement to serve as a national authority and provide expert level analysis and advice on immigration law and policies, highly sensitive investigations, enforcement, and/or compliance work specifically pertaining to ERO operations to leadership across organizational lines in order to facilitate:
Law enforcement policy review, emergent and long-range law enforcement operational planning, collaboration with international, Federal, State, and Local law enforcement communities, and detention standards and oversight
Collection and analysis of operational and actionable intelligence from wide-ranging sources including Federal, State, and local law enforcement agencies, military departments, foreign governments, financial institutions, and technology companies
Development of new approaches in response to identified weaknesses and vulnerabilities of ongoing operations
Qualification
Required

You must successfully pass a drug screen
Males born after 12/31/59 must certify registration with Selective Service
Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade in the Federal service
You must possess a valid automobile driver's license at the time of appointment
You will be required to carry a firearm while performing duties of this position
Job requires physical strength and stamina due to long periods of surveillance, restraining suspects, and carrying heavy equipment
You may be required to travel frequently and on short notice
You may be required to pass a pre-employment medical examination
You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance
You qualify for the GS-15 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-14 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as law enforcement policy review, emergent and long-range law enforcement operational planning, collaboration with international, Federal, State, and Local law enforcement communities, and detention standards and oversight
You must have successfully completed Basic Immigration Law Enforcement Training in accordance with 8 CFR 287.1(g) and other applicable agency policy
Selectees who have not previously held a position as a Deportation Officer, Detention and Deportation Officer, Supervisory Deportation Officer, or Supervisory Detention and Deportation Officer and have not previously attended the six-week DOTP will be required to do so after entrance on duty
Physical Fitness Test (PFT) may be administered. A passing score is required
You will be required to complete a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE Form 450) within 30 days after appointment
