NEOGOV is seeking a detail-oriented self-starter to join the Pennsylvania Insurance Department as a Legal Office Administrator 1. The role involves providing essential legal assistance, managing outside law firm contracts, and performing legal research and analysis to support the Office of Chief Counsel.

Responsibilities
Providing essential legal assistance in support of the Office of Chief Counsel, Bureau of Medical Care Availability and Reduction of Error Fund and Office of Liquidations, Rehabilitation and Special Funds
Assisting in managing outside law firm contract process, ensuring prompt handling, execution, and completion
Processing of all related agreements and contractual amendments as well as preparing periodic reports regarding these services
Assisting attorneys with all aspects of administrative proceedings and/or civil cases including trial or other hearings
Self-sufficiently performing legal research, analyzing legal issues, and preparing legal memoranda for attorney review
Qualification
Required
Two years of varied office management or staff work within a public or private legal office
At least one year of experience using Microsoft Word and Excel
At least one year of experience using Microsoft Outlook and Calendar
At least one year of experience using Adobe Pro
Ability to perform essential job functions
Must pass a background investigation
