They are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable and Chargeback Specialist to manage accounts receivable processes, ensure timely collection of invoices, and maintain accurate financial records.

Responsibilities

Process and monitor incoming payments, ensuring accurate application to customer accounts using accounting software such as Aptean or Apprise

Perform account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of receivables and resolve discrepancies promptly

Manage collections efforts by contacting customers via phone and email with professional phone etiquette and negotiation skills

Maintain detailed records of all transactions, including journal entries, debits & credits, and account analysis reports

Collaborate with other departments such as accounts payable to resolve billing issues and improve the revenue cycle process

Assist with month-end closing procedures related to accounts receivable and prepare reports for management review

Processing the payment reductions at the time of remittance

Ensure all chargeback disputes are processed within customer timelines

Proactively prevent chargebacks by identifying and addressing root causes

Work with management to determine chargeback recovery goals for the year
