PlanIT Group, LLC is seeking a Master Planner to provide planning and scheduling support for their client's Aeronautics Line of Business. The role involves developing and maintaining the Program Integrated Master Schedule and advising the Program Management team on contractual impacts and critical events.

Responsibilities

Provides planning/scheduling support to meet multiple immediate requirements across client's Aeronautics Line of Business

Assists in the development and maintenance of components of the Program Integrated Master Schedule, including proposal schedule development, Sustainment planning experience, review/support Statement of Work and Basis of Estimate development

Advises the Program Management team when and if a contractual impact is expected or when critical events have happened, including factors which may impact delivery or cost

Ensures Communication and Cross-coordination with IPTs

Develops/refines knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM)

Interacts across a variety of program functional organizations such as engineering, procurement, contracts, business management and production

Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills to work in a team environment

Prepares status reports, metrics and makes presentations as required

Must be a self-starter and have demonstrated Program Planning and Scheduling hands on experience

Additional responsibilities will be assigned as required

Experience using planning Del Tek Open Plan

Critical Path Scheduling methodology experience

Program Master Scheduling Experience

Aerospace/Aviation (preferred)

Demonstrated Program Planning and Scheduling hands on experience

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work in a team environment

Ability to prepare status reports, metrics and make presentations as required

Candidate must be flexible to work on a variety of assignments and be able to work with other planners/schedulers and internal customer in a fast pace and changing environment

Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development and maintenance experience

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to lead meetings and reviews

Understanding of EV to make sure proposals will be executable

Ability to comprehend schedule requirements and document them in a meaningful way
