Responsibilities
Lead and direct all field operations related to steel projects, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards
Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in project execution
Manage and mentor field teams, including superintendents and ironworkers, to foster a culture of safety and excellence
Collaborate with project management to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of projects
Monitor and evaluate field performance metrics, implementing improvements as needed
Establish strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure successful project outcomes
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies during all field operations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
10+ years of experience in field operations within the steel industry, with a focus on management roles
Proven experience as a superintendent or in similar leadership positions overseeing field teams
Strong understanding of steel construction processes and safety protocols
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to analyze operational data and implement strategic improvements
