Drafter Designer
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is looking for a detail-oriented Drafter Designer to join their Department of Environmental Protection's Bureau of Abandoned Mine Reclamation. This role involves creating technical drawings for various environmental engineering projects, focusing on abandoned mine land reclamation and remediation efforts.

Responsibilities
Engage in a range of technical tasks that support civil, mining, and environmental engineering initiatives
Focus on projects related to abandoned mine land (AML) reclamation and abandoned mine drainage (AMD) remediation
Involve in activities including surface mine reclamation, mine fire and subsidence control, closure of mine openings, and the extension or replacement of water supply lines
Evaluate, operate, monitor, maintain, and rehabilitate both active and passive AMD treatment facilities
Interpret and apply relevant guidance, standards, procedures, and regulations, exercising judgment to make necessary minor adaptations and modifications
Qualification
Required
Two years of experience as a Drafter (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
Two years of experience as an Environmental Engineering Technician (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration), which includes a minimum of one year of engineering, architectural or survey drafting work, including or supplemented by six months of CADD experience or training
Two years of experience in engineering, architectural or survey drafting work, including or supplemented by six months of CADD experience or training, and an Associate's Degree in the field of engineering technology or Computer Aided Drafting and Design
An equivalent combination of experience and/or training, including or supplemented by six months of CADD experience or training
You must meet the PA residency requirement
You must be able to perform essential job functions
