Responsibilities
Work with business stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical data models and solutions
Design, build, and manage logical and physical data models, data dictionaries, and catalogs
Implement and promote data governance policies, ensure data lineage is documented, and address data integrity issues
Partner with data scientists, engineers, analysts, and business leaders to deliver data-driven insights
Coordinate the integration of data models into source code repositories and manage change requests
Conduct data analysis, profiling, and validation to ensure data quality and meet business needs
Qualification
Required
Strong skills in SQL
Strong skills in Python
A solid understanding of data modeling principles
A solid understanding of metadata
A solid understanding of data quality
A solid understanding of data architecture principles
Experience in working with business stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical data models and solutions
Experience in designing, building, and managing logical and physical data models, data dictionaries, and catalogs
Experience in implementing and promoting data governance policies
Experience in ensuring data lineage is documented
Experience in addressing data integrity issues
Experience in partnering with data scientists, engineers, analysts, and business leaders to deliver data-driven insights
Experience in coordinating the integration of data models into source code repositories
Experience in managing change requests
Experience in conducting data analysis, profiling, and validation to ensure data quality and meet business needs
Preferred
Experience with data modeling tools like Power Designer
