Responsibilities

Underwrite Professional Indemnity, Medical Malpractice, and Management Liability risks within your portfolio

Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers to support business growth and deliver exceptional service

Ensure high standards of underwriting quality and provide timely, accurate responses to brokers and stakeholders

Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability

Represent the company professionally by participating in relevant industry events and networks

Support the achievement of revenue and expense targets in collaboration with the State Manager and senior team members

Qualification

Required

2+ years' experience in insurance underwriting and/or broking

Good knowledge of Professional Indemnity and moderate understanding of Management Liability and Public/Products Liability

Experience in marketing and broker development

Strong communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills

High numeracy and proficiency in Excel and standard business tools

A risk-aware mindset with a practical, optimistic approach to problem-solving
