Responsibilities
Participate in project teams to define test requirements for new products
Develop test plans and procedures for both new and existing products to support production
Provide hardware and software debugging support and ensure Manufacturing receives proper product training
Update test programs, scripts, databases, documentation, and labels as per ECO changes
Maintain, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with testers and fixtures to support production schedules
Apply failure analysis expertise to identify and resolve product and process issues
Collaborate cross-functionally and work independently with minimal supervision
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
Minimum 2+ years of experience in production test engineering
Hands-on experience with scripting languages, networking, functional testing, box build assembly, and hardware failure analysis
Experience working with test instruments such as DMM, Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, etc
Understanding of product lifecycle and change management processes in manufacturing
Familiarity with test instruments such as DMM, Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, etc
Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate in cross-functional teams
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
Experience with Linux scripting and LabVIEW is an added advantage
Knowledge of Linux and LabVIEW (preferred)
