Responsibilities
Responsible for developing, modifying, and executing software test plans, test scenarios, defines and solves for test data needs, automated scripts, and programs for testing in order to ensure the outgoing software and technical products meet and exceed quality standards
Develop and execute software tests to identify software problems and their root causes
Test system modifications to prepare for implementation
Document software and application defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to software engineers and product owners
May participate in the review of software design
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering or Computer Science
3 years Experience in a software development environment
In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience
Preferred
Knowledge and understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
Knowledge of software test requirements and protocols
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems
Knowledge of wireless communications and network systems
Intermediate programming skills on a programming language
Familiarity with databases
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products or equivalent
