School Partnerships Fellow

AmeriCorps is seeking a VISTA to serve as School and Community Partnerships Fellow in the District of Columbia Public Schools. The role focuses on increasing the capacity of the DCPS team through research, partnership development, and the creation of new tools, while working collaboratively with staff and community members.

Responsibilities

Develop materials and training tools for the use of the programs' database
Create systems for quarterly data collection and support for users
Develop communication strategies using various mediums, including social media campaigns
Create communication materials, such as flyers, one pagers, and infographics
Improve capacity to gather data, assess program quality and report information about school partnerships
Increase awareness of school partnership programs among students, families, and broader school communities
Increase financial, human, and in-kind resources as well as strengthened infrastructure to meet student needs
