The Intern will assist in developing GIS data, preparing environmental assessments, and organizing project files while gaining real-life experience and professional development.

General administrative tasks

Assist with the development and maintenance of various forms of GIS data

Assist in preparing Environmental Assessment Forms and Environmental Impact Statements

Organize project files and compile reports containing multiples chapters and appendices

Other duties as assigned

Qualification

Required

Enrolled as a sophomore or higher in a Geography, Environmental Science/Studies, Geology, Urban Planning, Engineering, Political Science, or related discipline

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Eagerness to learn

Ability to work individually as well as in a team

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Experience with Esri's suite of GIS products including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online
