Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional project teams—including engineers, project managers, and technical specialists—to deliver high-impact results with precision and accountability
Develop and manage multi-year departmental budgets with accurate forecasting, financial transparency, and rigorous cost and schedule controls
Oversee the creation, review, and approval of detailed technical project documentation to ensure alignment with business objectives and engineering standards
Evaluate complex technical alternatives, identify risks, and conduct in-depth analyses to support sound decision-making and innovative solutions
Communicate project milestones, risks, and strategies to senior leadership with clarity and influence
Implement scalable processes, tools, and procedures to enhance project execution and team efficiency
Build and maintain strong partnerships with contractors, producers, and customers to ensure successful project delivery
Perform other related duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
a minimum of 7 years of experience in engineering, project controls, commercial development operations, and/or project management within the oil and gas industry
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with safety as a top priority
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general PC skills
Demonstrated proficiency in project scheduling and resource planning using Microsoft Project, Primavera, or Oracle Applications
Advanced analytical skills for forecasting project volumes, assessing performance metrics, and enabling data-driven decisions
Solid understanding of DOT design standards with ability to integrate industry best practices into engineering workflows
Proven ability to lead complex engineering programs and provide strategic oversight to multidisciplinary teams
Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred

Master's degree in engineering or related field
a minimum of 5 years of related experience within the oil and gas industry
Professional Engineer (PE) license and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
