Responsibilities
Design, plan, and oversee Health-IT system architecture, including EHR, HIE, and EMAR platforms
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies
Direct and review the work of technical staff; ensure alignment with organizational goals
Manage relationships with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams
Apply knowledge of enterprise applications, data management, networks, security, and hardware in healthcare settings
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
5+ years working with Nextgen EHR, PM, and EDR
Nextgen Certification required
Strong knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10
5+ years of experience with healthcare-specific data interface standards and health information exchange (HIE) technologies
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Preferred
Experience with SQL
Experience with Crystal Reports, eMAR, Mirth, PACs, CIPS/Fusion, or Merge
Familiarity with HL7 standards
