DCG ONE is one of the largest privately held marketing service providers in the country. The Digital Press Operator runs digital presses and interprets print production work orders to produce a variety of printing projects, ensuring high-quality print products and materials.

Responsibilities

Operate a digital press, which includes the Ricoh presses, HP press, and Amiga laminator

Operate and maintain laser etching/engraving equipment in accordance with job specifications and safety standards

Prepare digital files for laser etching, ensuring proper formatting, resolution, and alignment with substrate requirements

Conduct test engravings to verify quality and make necessary adjustments before running full production

Perform regular cleaning, calibration, and preventative maintenance on laser equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity

Review and interpret production work orders

Communicate with other departments and staff members to gather any additional information needed to complete the job

Troubleshoot problems and take corrective action, make repairs, and notify supervisor

Communicate information to other shift operators

Work with safety in mind at all times and report any potential unsafe circumstances

Is open and willing to work in other departments if requested

Required

At least one (1) year of experience in digital printing

Experience performing basic printing equipment troubleshooting and maintenance, including changing paper and toner, clearing jams, and following on-screen instructions to bring equipment back to operational standards

May be required to complete and pass Public Trust Security Clearance
