PROJECT SUPERVISOR, Precinct 4

NEOGOV is looking for a Project Supervisor to manage the day-to-day operations of the Precinct 4 department. The role includes overseeing work production, scheduling assignments, training staff, and ensuring compliance with policies and laws.

Responsibilities

Directly responsible for the management of departmental/work unit staff
Provides training to staff members as required
Plans, assigns and is responsible for the workload and schedules of team/work unit members
Evaluates performance of subordinates, identifying strengths/weaknesses, providing employee development guidance and motivation, or making recommendations for replacement when appropriate
Acts as a resource for staff questions regarding customer issues, policies, etc
Coordinates activities with other departments to expedite work and improve performance
Performs quality reviews/audits of department's work and makes operational corrections as necessary
Establishes and enforces procedures to expedite and improve processes
Participates in personnel matters including disciplinary actions and resolution of departmental disputes
Performs all other related duties involved in the operation of the Precinct as assigned or required

Qualification

Road construction knowledgeClass A CDLTanker endorsementStaff trainingMicrosoft Office skills

Required

Associate's degree + three (3) full-time years of related working experience (including concepts, practices and procedures in the field of road construction and maintenance)
High School Diploma or GED + five (5) full-time years of related working experience (including concepts, practices and procedures in the field of road construction and maintenance)
Class A CDL upon hire with tanker endorsement within 30 days of hire
Advanced knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures in the field of road construction and maintenance
Moderate computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, data entry)
