Responsibilities
Designing concrete and steel structures in accordance with the technical specifications
Using STAAD Pro to perform structural analysis to ensure structural safety
Calculating the strengths of the foundations to ensure durability of the structures
Preparing AutoCAD drawings for concrete & steel structures
Reviewing shop drawings for rebar to ensure installation as per design drawings
Verifying design documents against project specifications and international codes such as American Concrete Institute (ACI) and American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC)
Conducting quantity take-offs and material estimation for civil and structural components during design and bidding stages
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
2 years related work experience
Designing concrete and steel structures in accordance with technical specifications
Using STAAD Pro to perform structural analysis to ensure structural safety
Calculating the strengths of the foundations to ensure durability of the structures
Preparing AutoCAD drawings for concrete & steel structures
Reviewing shop drawings for rebar to ensure installation as per design drawings
