Senior Account Executive

They are seeking a seasoned employee benefits, software sales professional to drive growth by managing customer relationships and engaging with clients and brokers. The role involves leading the sales cycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and achieving revenue targets while maintaining a customer-centric culture.

Responsibilities
Drive the full sales cycle for Avante's AI-powered benefits and HR solutions, from prospecting to close
Build and nurture relationships with senior HR and benefits leaders at enterprise organizations
Articulate the value proposition of our AI assistant and data platform to multiple stakeholders
Collaborate with strategic partners to identify and pursue joint opportunities
Work cross-functionally with Product, Customer Success, and Implementation teams to ensure smooth customer onboarding
Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts and activity tracking in our CRM
Contribute insights from customer interactions to inform product development and market strategy
Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
Leverage your extensive self-insured employer relationships to generate leads
Lead efforts to sell Avante's cutting-edge AI solutions into large employers, driving revenue and ensuring alignment with business growth objectives
Develop and maintain deep connections with key customers, focusing on understanding their needs and building long-lasting partnerships
Lead brokerage and consultant awareness meetings, generating interest and leads across portfolios of ASO employers
Act as a role model for customer obsession, contributing to building an organizational ethos centered around client satisfaction and loyalty
Partner with marketing, product, and engineering teams to inform product development and ensure customer feedback is incorporated effectively
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of market trends, competitive landscape, employee benefits and HR technology best practices to inform strategy and adapt approaches
Update Avante’s CRM system on a frequent basis to track the sales process, contact management, and marketing opportunities
Qualification
Required
10+ years of employee benefits-related sales experience
Familiarity with B2B software or SaaS sales, particularly targeting employer HR and benefits teams as well as brokers and consultants
Demonstrated success in high-value sales processes and customer relationship management
Deep understanding of employee benefits, self-insured employers, and HR/benefits purchasing
Excited about AI technologies and their application in HR and benefits
Self-starter who thrives on building systems and nurturing client relationships in high-pressure and high-velocity startup environments
Exceptional communicator, capable of explaining complex technology in an accessible manner
Proactive contributor to a collaborative, startup environment
