Responsibilities
Provide technical guidance or assessment in new product/process development programs
Prepare engineering documentation to production and support proto build
Act as the primary interface to customer on engineering related issues
Determine of influence manufacturing costs and make recommendations for Production (DFX)
Design and order tooling for assembly process during proto-type stage
Lead the effort in product transfer among our worldwide facilities
Participate in advance technology development
Qualification
Required
B.S. in Industrial Engineering or related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in SMT and PCBA engineering, preferably within the electronics manufacturing industry
English proficiency required
Strong analytical skills
Excellent communication and collaborative skills
Strong knowledge of manufacturing process
Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
IPC training – industry requirement
Preferred
M.S./M.B.A in Engineering or related is a plus
Green Belt certification preferable
Knowledge of APQP, pFMEA, PPAP, MSA, & SPC
Knowledge of Agile is preferred
Knowledge of Valor DFM is preferred
Knowledge of NPI process is a plus
Mandarin or Vietnamese is a plus
