This role involves developing strong customer relationships, identifying project opportunities, and providing technical guidance to clients.

Responsibilities
Promote and sell ready-mix concrete to commercial, residential, municipal, and infrastructure customers
Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular site visits and office meetings
Understand the full range of MRM’s concrete mix offerings and advise customers on appropriate mix selections based on project needs
Collaborate closely with dispatch, QC, and operations to ensure smooth order fulfillment and high customer satisfaction
Act as a technical resource for clients on concrete performance, specifications, and placement best practices
Track construction activity in the region and pursue new project opportunities
Participate in pre-pour meetings and maintain communication throughout project execution
Maintain accurate records of bid and sales activity, client communication, and project updates
Identify and help resolve service, quality, or scheduling issues in real-time
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of sales experience, preferably in ready-mix concrete, construction materials or similar
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on relationship-building
Technical knowledge of concrete, including mix design basics, performance characteristics, and placement considerations
Self-sufficient with the ability to work independently and manage a mobile schedule
Familiarity with construction sites, contractors, and project planning processes
Comfortable using basic tech tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred but not required
