Responsibilities
Service and maintain commercial fire alarm systems and components to ensure proper functionality
Troubleshoot systems to diagnose issues such as ground faults, open circuits, and short circuits
Educate customers on the functionality and operation of their fire alarm systems
Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and team members
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
Maintain a willingness to learn and grow within the role
Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience with commercial fire alarm systems
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications
Experience using electronic testing devices
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Valid driver's license
Preferred
NICET II, III, or IV Fire Life Safety certification
Experience in low voltage or security systems
Manufacturer certifications for fire alarm systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Basic understanding of IT systems and functionality
