Jabil is a leading manufacturing company, and they are seeking an experienced Mold Tooling Technician to repair, modify, and troubleshoot molds used in plastic injection molding. In this role, you will maintain and repair injection molds in a tool shop environment, ensuring their optimal functionality.

Responsibilities

Perform repairs, test, and preventive maintenance on Injection Molds
Perform tasks using tools such as lathes, mills, surface grinders, and drill presses
Using hi-lo and overhead cranes to pull and set various size molds
Store and maintain validated components
Stores non-validated components
Follows all procedures and training
Maintains excellent attendance
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Possible overtime

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Must have experience repairing molds and working in a tool shop environment
Must be able to demonstrate hands on experience using tools such as lathes, mills, surface grinders, drill presses, hot runners, and hand tools
Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Preferred

Specialty education related to injection molding or certifications (RJG or ASQ) a plus
