Responsibilities

Define and own the SAP test strategy for multiple phases (SIT, UAT, Regression, Performance)
Collaborate with functional and technical leads to define test scope, schedule, and priorities
Develop comprehensive test plans including resource planning, tools, and risk mitigation
Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of test leads, SDETs, and QA analysts (onsite/offshore)
Coordinate testing efforts across SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, etc.) and non-SAP systems
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and quality ownership
Oversee implementation of test automation frameworks (e.g., Tricentis Tosca, Selenium)
Ensure automation integration with CI/CD pipelines (SAP BTP, Jenkins, etc.)
Manage end-to-end performance testing initiatives using tools like LoadRunner or JMeter
Collaborate with business stakeholders to plan and coordinate UAT cycles
Provide UAT support, environment readiness, test data provisioning, and defect triaging
Ensure user sign-off and alignment on business requirements
Manage defect lifecycle and drive triage meetings using qTest, JIRA, HP ALM, or Azure DevOps
Ensure timely resolution, root cause analysis, and validation of fixes
Track KPIs such as test coverage, defect density, and test execution rates
Provide executive-level dashboards and test progress reports
Communicate risks, issues, and dependencies to project stakeholders
Ensure alignment of testing milestones with project delivery goals
Introduce process improvements based on retrospectives and QA metrics
Evaluate and recommend new testing tools, techniques, and accelerators

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
5 to 10 years of QA/testing experience with at least 5 years managing SAP testing
Proven experience in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA testing (Greenfield, Brownfield, or Hybrid)
Hands-on knowledge of test automation and performance testing tools
Strong understanding of end-to-end SAP business processes and integrations
Experience with offshore/onsite testing delivery models
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills

Preferred

ISTQB or equivalent certification
