Responsibilities
Lead and develop a team of Project Managers, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance management to build a high-performing PM organization
Oversee complex, cross-functional programs from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational priorities
Partner with executive leadership to translate strategic objectives into actionable programs, driving operational improvements and business outcomes
Establish and enforce project management standards, governance, and best practices across the team
Monitor portfolio health, balancing resources and priorities across multiple concurrent projects
Drive continuous improvement by analyzing business processes, identifying gaps, and implementing optimized workflows
Act as a strategic advisor, providing insights and recommendations to senior management based on program performance and business analysis
Ensure integration with key tools and systems, leveraging data to measure and report on program success
Champion stakeholder engagement and communication, fostering transparency and alignment across all levels of the organization
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years of proven leadership experience, managing and developing Project Managers in a large enterprise IT environment
Strong understanding of portfolio management, governance frameworks, and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
Ability to navigate complex organizational structures, influence senior stakeholders, and drive alignment across competing priorities
Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and leadership skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple programs, deliver results on time and within scope, and build a culture of accountability and excellence
Preferred
Experience in the transportation and logistics industry is a strong plus
Experience with change management and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Certifications in project management (PMP, Prince2) or process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) are a plus
