InternThe Whiting-Turner Contracting Company is seeking a Marketing Intern to assist the marketer and operations groups in their pursuits to secure work. The intern will learn the strategies involved in proposal preparation and presentations while working in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities
Collaborating with marketer on daily tasks to help with responding to an RFQ/RFP
Developing relevant proposal materials (firm profile, resumes, project sheets, etc.)
Editing content to ensure quality, accuracy, readability, etc
Transforming text-heavy narratives into visual/graphical responses
Developing internal marketing products
Performing market research
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications
Experience with Adobe InDesign
Experience with Microsoft Office 2016 including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Ability to assist with responding to an RFQ/RFP
Ability to develop relevant proposal materials (firm profile, resumes, project sheets, etc.)
Ability to edit content to ensure quality, accuracy, readability, etc
Ability to transform text-heavy narratives into visual/graphical responses
Ability to develop internal marketing products
Ability to perform market research
