Responsibilities

Help develop and execute paid, earned (national focus), social, and owned media strategies that enhance and protect the reputation of the firm, as well as advance the firm's strategic priorities
Develop and execute media strategies aligned to several sectors and industries such as Consumer and Retail, Government and Healthcare
Create high-impact content in support of business priorities through a variety of media, including social media, video, infographics, and written communications /byline articles
Inform and create thought leadership to support business and media goals; build relationships with key stakeholders, including KPMG leaders in corporate functions, as well as sector leaders in the market
Develop and maintain productive, collaborative relationships, and proactively support other team members and projects; serve as connection point on the team, and with key stakeholders to ensure awareness of programs, deliverables, and results
Work with data and analytics to glean actionable insights and drive meaningful outcomes; act as an avid consumer of traditional news and social media, bringing external trends and case studies into communications
Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment

Required

Minimum three years of recent experience working in communications, preferably in professional services
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Strong writing and project management skills; proactive team player and self-starter who exercises independent judgment and discretion; proven technical aptitude and critical thinking; knowledge of Microsoft Office and measurement tools
Ability to effectively collaborate and interact with individuals at all levels across an organization, including senior leadership; knowledge of media landscape; some knowledge of the business and competitive environment
In-depth knowledge of and experience using internal and external communications channels including social and digital media; agency and national media outreach experience is preferred
Able to thrive, multi-task, and be flexible in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
